Towards a more resilient Philippines

Our economy has suffered a great deal because of this pandemic, a lot of Filipinos have suffered greatly, especially to those who work hard and yet is not paid enough and those who are in a small business that had been stopped or has gone bankrupt. The crisis only allowed us to see all the flaws in our system and how it greatly affects all the citizens. Because of the Pandemic, it’s like all 7107 islands of the Philippines is truly disconnected, have lost many Filipinos and places or workshops, business to earn a living, interacting with everyone, gone, only temporarily, but the effect that this pandemic had impacted is something we can no longer revert back.

Given the opportunity from the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic that has been referred to as the Great Reset, we are able to think or reflect back on what we had missed or failed to do and be able to slowly reinforce, change, fix the flaws in the system, build everything from scratch. With the support coming from larger companies, donations they have given in order for us to survive and strive to be better

Regarding education, there are a lot of problems seen arising. We would have preferred how it was before COVID-19, but now that isn’t an option, I know some of us might be upset about it, for it is somewhat harder when we are just reading a module than when we are taught in real-time, face-to-face. Another problem I can see that in using modular or digital method is that people would sometimes procrastinate or not following the awfully specific schedule given to us.

I hope in the future we would be able to rise and move onwards, towards a more resilient  Philippines.
