A Masked Festival

Vigan City Fiesta Celebration amidst the COVID 19 Pandemic is something we, been quarantined and restricted from leaving the premises of our house, have imagined and maybe wanted. Unrealistic as it is because of the fear of getting infected or spreading the virus, there still some that dare goes out and would try to reason that the cases are declining.

Certainly, that is not the case because of what we have heard happen recently, that people getting the virus had shot up, not just to elders but also teens and such. Even if people were to insist any try to follow the guides given such as wearing masks and face shields or bringing alcohol, there would still be a high risk of getting the virus and spreading it everywhere. It's not 100% guaranteed that wearing a mask and no touching is involved because the fiestas in Vigan usually come with parades and street dances and more, the festivities invite a lot of people and the streets would usually be jam-packed.

More or less if they really did allow it, I am certain that not many would go watch or participate because they would fear it. The Vigan City Festival is normally celebrated mid to late January
